ASC takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in compliance with data protection regulations and the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

Data processing in connection with this website is performed by ASC GmbH. Our contact details are shown on the imprint of this website.

Your data are collected when you share them with us. These may, for example, be data that you provide in a contact form. Other data are collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit our website. These are primarily technical data (e.g. details of your web browser, operating system or time of your visit). The collection of these data is automatic, as soon as you go to our website. Some of these data are collected in order to ensure the error-free operation of our website. Other data may be used to analyse how you use the website.

You have the right to receive information about the source of your personal data, the recipient(s) thereof, and the purpose for which they are collected, at any time and free of charge. You furthermore have the right to rectification, blocking or erasure of these data. You may contact us at any time at the address shown in the Legal Information section if you have queries about this or any other questions relating to privacy. You moreover have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (www.lda.bayern.de).

We would advise you that the online transfer of data (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may entail security vulnerabilities. It is not possible to protect data fully from third-party access.

The data controller, responsible for data processing in connection with this website is:

ASC GmbH
Ledererstr. 10

85276 Pfaffenhofen

Germany

Telephone:+ 49 8441 786547-0

The company’s Data Protection Officer can be contacted at the above address, for the attention of Ms. Melanie Kolb.

Withdrawal of your consent to data processing

Many data processing processes are only possible with your explicit consent. If you have already given your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To do so, you may simply send us an e-mail to that effect to (datenschutz@asc-sensors.de). The lawfulness of data processing until such time as you withdraw your consent is not affected by that withdrawal.

You have the right to have your personal data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or for the performance of a contract transferred to a third party in a commonly used, machine-readable format. In exercising your right to have the data transferred directly to another data controller, such transfer shall only be made where technically feasible.

Analysis tools and tools from third-party providers

When you visit our website, your browsing behaviour may be statistically analysed. This is primarily done with cookies and analytical programmes. As a rule, the analysis of your browsing behaviour is anonymous; it cannot be used to identify you. You may object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. Detailed information on this subject is contained in this Privacy Policy.

For reasons of security and to protect the transfer of confidential content such as orders or enquiries that you send to us, as the website operator, this website uses SSL and/or TLS encryption. You can see whether your connection is encrypted because the usual “http://” displayed in the address bar becomes “https://” and you will see a lock symbol there.

Once SSL and/or TLS encryption is activated, the data that you transfer to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, blocking, erasure

Pursuant to current legal provisions, you have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about your stored personal data, their source, the recipient(s), the purpose of processing and, where appropriate, the right to rectification, blocking or erasure of these data. 2. Data collection on our website

 a) Cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies do not harm your computer and they do not contain viruses. The purpose of cookies is to make our service more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and are stored by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are session cookies. They are automatically erased when you leave our website. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you erase them. These cookies allow us to identify your browser when you next visit our website.

You can adjust your browser settings so that you are informed about the placement of a cookie, to only permit cookies in individual cases, to block some or all cookies, and to activate the automatic erasure of cookies when you close your browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be reduced.

The website operator’s legitimate interest in the storage of cookies lies in the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your browsing behaviour) are stored, these are mentioned separately in this Privacy Policy.

You may withdraw that consent at any time simply by notifying us accordingly by e-mail. The lawfulness of data processing until such time as you withdraw your consent is not affected by that withdrawal.

We retain the data you provide to us in the contact form until you request us to erase them, until you withdraw your consent to their storage, or until the purpose for which they were collected no longer applies (e.g. once your request has been resolved). This shall not affect binding legal provisions, most notably retention periods.

We collect, process and use personal data only where required for the establishment, substantive arrangement or alteration of the legal relationship (inventory data). The legal basis for data processing in this instance is Art. 6 (1) b) GDPR which permits the processing of data for the purposes of contract performance or to effect precontractual measures. We only collect, process and use personal data obtained through your use of our website (usage data) where this is necessary in order to provide our service to you or invoice you for it.

6. Use of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console

 a) Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the Google Analytics web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analysed. As a rule, the information about your website usage generated by the cookie is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The legal basis for the storage of Google Analytics cookies is Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both its online service and its advertising.

We have activated IP anonymisation on this website. This means that within the European Union member states and in those countries that are signatories to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, your IP address is abbreviated before it is transmitted to a Google server in the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and only abbreviated there. Google uses this information on behalf of the operator of this website to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports about website activity, and to provide further services in connection with website and internet use to the website operator. Your IP address which is transferred from your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not associated with other data held by Google.

Contracted data processing

We have concluded a data processing contract with Google and when using Google Analytics we are fully compliant with the requirements of the German data protection authorities.

Demographic features of Google Analytics

This website uses the “demographic features” of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain statements about the website visitor’s age, gender and interests. These data are derived from interest-related advertising by Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. These data cannot be associated with any individual. You can however deactivate this function at any time or refuse the collection of your data by Google Analytics as mentioned at “Objection to data processing” above, by adjusting your Google account settings.

This website uses Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager is a solution with which the marketer can manager website tags across an interface. The Tool Tag Manager itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-free domain and does not collect any personal data. The tool triggers other tags which may, for their part, collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access these data. If deactivation has been effected at domain or cookie level, this will apply to all tracking tags that are implemented via Google Tag Manager. http://www.google.de/tagmanager/use-policy.html

Please click here to disable Google Tag Manager.

c) Google Search Console

This website uses the Google Search Console. The Google Search Console is a service provided free of charge by Google to website operators so that they can monitor and analyse their own websites. This allows the authorised operator to identify page link errors, to see the pages which contain links to his website, to determine the number of clicks (but not by whom) from which countries and devices (desktop, tablet or mobile phone) and to see which images have been viewed and how often. However, no personal data are collected, stored or displayed.
